Jesse Armendarez is a dedicated public servant, successful entrepreneur, and lifelong resident of San Bernardino County who has spent his career working to improve the lives of local families. Elected to the San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors in November 2022, Jesse has built a reputation as a results-driven leader who puts his community first.

Jesse’s story is one of hard work and perseverance. A proud graduate of the first class of A.B. Miller High School in Fontana, he learned the value of hard work early—his first job was pressure washing trucks for a local logistics company at just 16 years old. Determined to create opportunities for himself and others, he went on to start his own successful business, gaining firsthand experience in job creation and economic development.

Deeply committed to serving his community, Jesse has held leadership roles at every level of local government. His service includes:

• Fontana Planning Commission

• Fontana Unified School District Board Member

• Fontana City Councilman

Beyond elected office, Jesse has been a dedicated advocate for local businesses and economic growth. He is a proud member of the Fontana Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Board of Directors for the California Association of Realtors. His leadership extends to public service organizations as well, having served on the Board of Directors for the Fontana Rotary Club and the Fontana Exchange Club.

Jesse also believes in the power of education to transform lives. As a Director for the Chaffey College Foundation, he and his wife, Delene, have fully funded the Jesse and Delene Armendarez Endowment, ensuring that local students have the financial support they need to pursue higher education.

Recognizing the importance of responsible growth and infrastructure, Jesse has played a key role in shaping policies that impact housing, land use, and public utilities. He has served as Chair of the Inland Empire Utilities Agency Policy Committee, Vice Chair of the Housing Authority and Industrial Development, and currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the Housing, Land Use, and Transportation Committee for the California State Association of Counties.

In addition to his professional and public service roles, Jesse is a loving husband and father. He and his wife, Delene, have built their life in San Bernardino County, raising their four children with the same values of hard work, faith, and community service that have guided his own life. As a member of Water of Life Church, Jesse remains committed to his faith and to strengthening.
