Youth Advisory Committee Application
Requirements
Applicants must:
- be 16 to 25 years old at the time of application.
- live within the boundaries of the San Bernardino County 2nd District. Enter your address to verify you live within the 2nd District boundaries.
- provide one to two references. You will need to provide their name, email and/or phone number.

Responsibilities
If selected, you will have the following responsibilities and opportunities:
- Supervisor Jesse Armendarez will provide exposure and involvement in government agencies, nonprofits, and various agencies.
- Attend meetings twice monthly and participate in other special youth council activities, which will be held virtually or in person.
- Identify solutions to improve programs, policies, and practices affecting youth in San Bernardino County 2nd District.
- Partner with coummunity organizations, civic leaders, Chamber of Commerce, county, and city departments that impact the quality of life for youth.
- Receive training and leadership development from County partners on a wide range of issues.
- Assist in the drafting and presentation of recommendations to the Supervisor on issues that include, but are not limited to , County budgets, programs, and policies related to youth development.
